bring your children to church when they are well! Colds,
runny noses, coughs, fevers, rashes, vomiting, diarrhea, or other signs of
illness will spread very quickly among children staying in the nursery.
Also, if your child becomes ill while in our care, we will contact you to
pick up your child. We cannot give your
child any kind of medication. If he or she needs medication while in our
nursery, it will be your responsibility to come and administer it. This
includes teething lotion. Please
mark your diaper bag and its Parent
Pagers are
used in the nursery to call for parents during services and Sunday School.
We use these pagers so that we can contact parents for any reason and for
security. Our
nursery is a volunteer co-op. If your child is a regular attendee, we ask that
you would serve in our nursery during at least one Sunday every other
month. We also encourage husbands and wives to team up together for
nursery duty. We try to keep our child/volunteer ratio at 3:1 for infants,
4:1 for wee-walkers and 5:1 for 2-3 yr. olds. If the ratio is exceeded
when you check your child in, we may ask you to stay to help during that
service. 2

Parents are expected to
sign their children in at the reception area in the K.R.U. building, and
specify which service they will be attending and if they are planning to
